A matsayin wani ɓangare na haɗin gwiwar sararin samaniyar Amurka-Indiya, ISRO ta karɓi NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) don haɗakar da tauraron dan adam na kallon Duniya. Jirgin saman Amurka Air Force C-17 dauke da NISAR daga NASA –JPL a California ya sauka a Bengaluru a yau.  

Babban Ofishin Jakadancin Amurka a Chennai ya wallafa a shafinsa na Twitter yana tabbatar da hakan.

A sanarwa ta ISRO ya bayyana:
Haɗin kuɗin NISAR wanda ya ƙunshi ISRO's S-band Radar da NASA's L-band Radar ya isa Bengaluru a farkon sa'o'i na Maris 6, 2023 kuma ya koma UR Rao Satellite Center, Bengaluru don gudanar da ƙarin gwaji da haɗuwa tare da bas ɗin tauraron dan adam ISRO.

Hukumar NISAR: NISAR ita ce aikin tauraron dan adam na farko don tattara bayanan radar a yankuna biyu na microwave, wanda ake kira L-band da S-band, don auna canje-canje a saman duniyarmu kasa da sintimita a fadin. Wannan yana ba da damar manufa don lura da matakai daban-daban na duniya, daga yawan kwararar glaciers da zanen kankara zuwa yanayin girgizar ƙasa da tsaunuka. Za ta yi amfani da nagartaccen dabarar sarrafa bayanai da aka sani da radar buɗaɗɗen roba don samar da hotuna masu girman gaske.

NISAR za ta ba da ra'ayin da ba a taɓa gani ba game da duniya. Bayanan nata na iya taimaka wa mutane a duk duniya ingantacciyar sarrafa albarkatun ƙasa da hatsarori, da kuma samar da bayanai ga masana kimiyya don ƙarin fahimtar tasirin da saurin sauyin yanayi. Har ila yau, za ta ƙara fahimtar yanayin duniyarmu mai wuya, wanda ake kira ɓawon burodi. 

Ana shirin ƙaddamar da NISAR a cikin 2024 daga Cibiyar Sararin Samaniya ta Satish Dhawan da ke Sriharikota, zuwa cikin sararin samaniya na kusa da iyakacin duniya.
